A Bay Area Community Giving Project

Grantees

Our grants are aimed to help small community organizations that to serve the Bay Area's South Asian community. We aim to give away up to $50,000 in grants to up to 5 such organizations this year. We are now accepting grant applications, which are available here. Applications are due by August 15, 2010.

Any organization that meets the following requirements is welcome to apply:

1. The organization must have a mission and/or program activities which serve the South Asian community.

2. The organization must be based in, or have a strong presence in, the Bay Area San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, and/or Contra Costa Counties).

3. The organization must have 501(c)3 status or the ability to access funds through a 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor.

4. The program activities for which the organization applies for funding must be secular.
